This Is What a $400 White Castle Slider Looks Like

If you have a $250 gift card for Williams-Sonoma, chances are you’ll probably spend it on some practical kitchenware. If you’re Nick from Dude Foods, however, you’re pretty much expected to do something a little different.

Using the entirety of the gift card, shipping included, Nick bought an ounce of Italian white truffles. One would assume that after purchasing such an extravagant ingredient he’d save it for a special occasion or some refined dish.

Nope. Homie threw it on a White Castle slider.

It wasn’t a complete waste of the ingredient, however. Since it is Dude Foods, Nick gathered some of the most expensively fancy ingredients he could find. This included both Pleasant Ridge Reserve and Hook’s 15 Year slices of cheddar, duck foie gras, port wine pate, Russian caviar, prosciutto, a fried quail egg and even some gold flecks. All stuffed into a White Castle slider.

Clocking in at $400, this burger definitely made a bold statement.

So how does a $400 burger stacked with truffles, caviar and foie gras taste?

According to Nick, terrible.
