Spotify Customizes Playlists Based on How Fat Your Turkey Is

If you’re planning to spend Thanksgiving in the kitchen for five hours, cooking up a storm for your friends and family, Spotify’s going to make sure you can at least turn up in the process.

Spotify has created six customized playlists that change in length according to turkey size. The Time For Turkey feature asks for the weight of your turkey and what genre of music you’d like to listen to, then generates a playlist of just the right length, based on the USDA’s estimated timetable for making a turkey.

For example, if your turkey weighs 20 pounds and you want to listen to some oldies all day, it will generate five hours and 15 minutes worth of oldies for you.

It’ll even remind you to baste your turkey and check on it from time to time.

Now if they can find an algorithm for a restroom playlist, where you can enter what you ate that day, and it plays encouraging music for 20 minutes, that’d be great.
