Snack&Munch: The Online Vending Machine

If you’re cranky and hungry and your office vending machine supply simply isn’t doing the trick, that’s where newly founded startup Snack&Munch hopes to step in and save the day. Penning the slogan of “Your Online Vending Machine!” the website functions as a snack delivery service, allowing you to pick and choose the pre-packaged snacks that most interest you and your fellow office-, school-, roommates and have them delivered right to your doorstep.

The big thing the website has going for it is its branding centered around the number 24. Each snack pack is made up of 24 items, and will cost $24 with shipping included. To get a dollar off your order, the website asks if you’d prefer to opt for a monthly recurring service.

While this process is definitely not as cost-effective as heading out to a local grocery store and picking up pre-packaged boxes of your favorite snacks, the convenience factor is inherently present in this service. Also, the ability to mix and match 24 different snacks is a novel one as well, along with the elation many people experience with the arrival of snail mail at their home or office.

The choice is yours, will you let Snack&Munch fulfill your snacking needs? Or is the penning of a “virtual snack machine” too overstated for this particular project?
