Baskin-Robbins Reveals a Royal Wedding Ice Cream Cake

The countdown to the Royal Wedding of Prince William and princess to-be Catherine Middleton is well underway. With five weeks left until the big celebration, brand after brand seems to be jumping on the chance to join in on the fun.

Earlier this month we unveiled Dunkin’ Donuts’ homage via their Royal Wedding Donut, and a little over a week later we are privy to Baskin-Robbins‘ inspired product addition: the Royal Wedding Ice Cream Cake.

Designed by Christopher Boos, Executive Pastry Chef for Baskin Robbins designed the multi-tier cake that sits 9 inches around. The cake is reminiscent of an English Garden, inspired by the colorful gardens of the Cotswolds. Built and promoted for interested customers to get into the spirit of this special day.

The default look comes stock with the royal theme, including a chocolate royal mousse ice cream flavor inside adorned with 30 piped white and blue English roses. The six inch round wedding cake top will be available in the US, UK, Australia and Canada at participating Baskin-Robbins for $19.99, with specific locations willing to create a two tier cake made with the 9-inch round cake.
