McDonald’s Testing 60-Second Drive-Thru

McDonald’s has the need for speed, as it’s going to be testing out a drive-thru system where customers will receive their meal for free if not received in 60 seconds or less.

At select South Florida restaurants, customers will receive a timer after paying for their order.  As the workers rush like a NASCAR pit crew, they must have the order out within 60 seconds or the customer will receive a comp meal.

However, not receiving the timer until you have paid, means you can still be in line for a while before that.

Their promotion will run Monday through Friday, until August 29, between noon and 1 p.m. only.
