Carl’s Jr. Put French Toast Buns On Its New Breakfast Sandwich

Trying to put a dent in the breakfast fast food war, Carl’s Jr. just announced a new Cinnamon Swirl French Toast Breakfast Sandwich.

Carl’s Jr.’s breakfast buns are usually a pretty simple selection between their biscuits, or seeded bun, but the maple syrup-ey cinnamon french toast buns will add a sweet touch to the typically savory breakfast.

There’s no curve balls thrown here as the sandwich comes with all the basics like eggs, melted American cheese and a choice of sausage, ham or bacon.

Earlier this month, Carl’s Jr. confirmed that UFC star Ronda Rousey would star in its next commercial.  So August 31, Rousey’s ad for this breakfast sandwich will debut, presumably with Rousey half-naked and getting doused with maple syrup inside the octagon ring.
