The pickle obsession continues its undefeated run.

Grillo’s Pickles is bringing back its annual Lower East Side pop-up this June, transforming 2 Rivington Street into a full-blown pickle playground complete with exclusive food collaborations, limited-edition merch, and perhaps most importantly, pickle-themed footwear.

Yes, pickle slides are real.

Dubbed the Grillo’s Pickles Bodega, the pop-up runs from June 5 through June 20 and serves as a physical manifestation of the brand’s increasingly wild pickle universe. Visitors can expect returning favorites like pickled grapes, carrots, red onions, green tomatoes, and hot peppers alongside new merch drops and restaurant collaborations with some of New York City’s favorite local spots.

The collaboration lineup reads like a Lower East Side food crawl waiting to happen.

Highlights include a Pickle Smash Burger from Bucky’s Burger, a classic sandwich loaded with hot pickles from Alidoro, bagels with pickle butter from PopUp Bagels, a pickle grilled cheese and pickle cocktails from Ray’s Bar, a chopped cheese with pickles from Brown Bag Sandwich Co., and a hot dog collaboration with DM Dinners to close things out on June 20.

Then there are the pickle slides.

Available beginning June 12, the limited-edition footwear takes inspiration from the brand’s signature green aesthetic and arrives exclusively through the pop-up. At $75 a pair, they’re clearly aimed at the type of person who already has strong opinions about pickle brine and getting a fit off.

The experience stretches beyond the storefront, too. Grillo’s is launching a pickle-themed scavenger hunt around the Lower East Side, sending fans to local favorites like Scarr’s Pizza, Gotham Burger Social Club, Dudley’s, and 169 Bar to collect punch card stamps and unlock exclusive merch prizes.
