THE MELT, a fast-casual eatery specializing in online ordering, will be celebrating National Grilled Cheese Day by giving away 10,000 free melts to the first 10,000 people who sign up at  eatcheese.com by Friday, April 12 (National Grilled Cheese Day). For peeps who sign up on time, expect to get a QR code for a free melt (up to $6.75) that can be redeemed at any of their 15 locations throughout California .

The giveaway highlights the company’s updated menu featuring new all-day breakfast melts and “artisanal ice cream” — Madagascar vanilla bean soft serve, hand-made Madagascar vanilla bean and double chocolate milkshakes.
