Popeyes Teases Upcoming Collab With Don Julio

There’s beer-battered chicken, Ludacris’ Chicken-n-Beer album, and even beer can chicken, but tequila and chicken? That’s a whole new vibe. It looks like Popeyes is ready to change the game. The fried chicken chain has teased an upcoming collab with tequila brand Don Julio.

According to a teaser video featuring a dancing DJ in a Popeyes-branded jacket and quick flashes of a Don Julio bottle, the mystery mashup is set to be revealed on January 31.

That’s all we have as of now, but it appears like the collab is connected to the upcoming Big Game. We’ll just have to wait patiently for next week’s reveal to see how this savory and buzzy team-up comes together.
