NYC Brewery’s Newest Beer Supports Pride Month and LGBTQ+ Charity

Pride Month is in full swing and New York’s Torch & Crown Brewing Company is toasting the LGBTQ+ community and its allies with Rainbows Everywhere, a limited-edition IPA.

Inspired by the “unity, resilience, and progress among queer people and activists,” the beer pays homage to the 24 years since New York City’s Stonewall Uprising. Rainbows Everywhere is a hazy IPA with juicy tropical notes to symbolize the boldness of the community and an ABV of 6.9%, as callback to the original Stonewall Uprising in 1969. 

Rainbows Everywhere also supports the vital work of the Ali Forney Center by giving 25% of its proceeds to the charity’s efforts in  providing housing, support, and essential resources to LGBTQ+ homeless youth. However, this is not Torch & Crown’s first venture in supporting LGBTQ+ efforts, as the brewery has also worked with other foundations like the Trevor Project, the Okra Project, and Knit the Rainbow. 

If you are in the New York City area this month, the brewery is hosting several Pride events during the week of the parade (June 19 – June 25), including drag trivia and live music from queer performers.
