Mouth Please: Fried Doritos-Crusted Bacon

It’s been a hot minute since Nick of Dude Foods dropped one of his deep-fried Doritos specialties. The last few sightings we salivated over were the Doritios-Crusted Chicken Strips and the Doritos-Crusted Loco Burger. Struck by inspiration (aka a package of bacon), Nick decided to cover bacon in his classic Doritos breading.

Taking thick slices of the cured pork, Nick covered them in flour and egg wash, then layered on crushed up Doritos before dunking them in his deep fryer. What resulted were “sucker punches [for] your tastesbuds,” according to Nick. Mmm, just the thing to pair with a Baja Blast Jello Shot.
