Miller Lite Offers Free Franks For National Hot Dog Day

In honor of National Hot Dog Day, Miller Lite is teaming up with Chicago’s hot dog staple Vienna Beef to host beer and hot dog tailgates across Illinois.

Glizzy gastronomers who attend will get to try free specialty hot dogs Lola’s Coney Island, Flub a Dub Chub’s, Cozzi Corner Hot Dogs & Beef, and George’s Hot Dogs, who will vie for hot dog supremacy and the title of Hot Dog Champion. Dates and locations are below:

  • Wednesday, July 19, 4:30 to 7:30 pm at Wrigley Field – Rizzo’s Bar & Inn Parking Lot, 3658 N. Clark St., Chicago
  • Wednesday, July 26, 4:00 to 6:30 pm at Guaranteed Rate Field – LOT B (Southwest corner), 333 W. 35th St., Chicago
  • Friday, July 28, 4:30 to 7:30 pm at Chicago Dogs Game at Impact Field – Inside Impact Field, 9850 Balmoral Ave., Rosemont

For those who cannot attend the tailgates, Miller Lite and Vienna Beef are offering one fan the chance to create and name their very own Vienna Beef dog that will be sold at a major league baseball stadium in September. You can find more information on how to enter at www.millerlite.com/myhotdog.
