Lent 2024: Fast Food Chains Serving Up Fish
Lent started on Wednesday, February 14, which means if you are participating, then you’ll need to add fish to your diet every Friday until March 28. We have compiled a list of your preferred fast-food chains that are currently featuring specials on seafood dishes and introducing or re-introducing limited-time menu items.
Popeyes: Flounder Fish Sandwich
First introduced in 2021, the Popeyes Flounder Sandwich is returning. It features a fried flounder filet marinated in Louisiana herbs and spices and served on a toasted brioche bun with pickles and Popeyes Classic Tartar or Spicy Spread.
Taco John’s: Alaska Flounder Fish Tacos
Taco John’s brings back Alaska Flounder Fish Tacos: wild-caught flounder in crispy batter, chipotle lime sauce, lettuce, Pico de Gallo, in a warm tortilla.
Jack In The Box: Fish Wrap and Deluxe Fish Sandwich
Jack’s Fish Wraps feature wild caught Alaskan Pollock, cheddar, lettuce, tartar sauce and pickles wrapped in a tortilla. You can also get Spicy Fish Wraps with jalapeńos.
