Burger King Advertising 88¢ Whopper on 8/8

Several pieces of official signage at various Southern California Burger King locations have begun promoting an 88¢ Whopper deal. On Monday, August 8 from 8AM – 8PM, Burger King will be selling their famous, flame-grilled Whopper for 88¢. Expect to treat yourself to a nice burger or two at your local participating BK. Since no official word has been disseminated from Burger King officials, we can’t yet confirm if this is a nationwide deal, or simply limited to the few locations where advertisements have been sighted.

UPDATE 08/03/2011: The deal is indeed in effect for the city of LA and surrounding areas, at Burger King participating locations. No further word on Burger King locations outside of the Southern California area participating in this deal, yet.
