ADVENTURE: OC BBQ Bonanza 2011

Never ones to turn down an event with “BBQ” in the title, let alone one that also has “Bonanza” in the same breath, we took an early work day this past Thursday and hit up the first annual Orange County BBQ Bonanza. For those in Southern California, if you’re promised some serious BBQ, you flock to it. This new event promised a good time, combining drinking, music, shopping and of course, food from some six extremely well decorated BBQ Cooking teams.

The following food comes from Aussom Aussies, Porky-N-Beans, Howling Coyotes Southwest BBQ, Cowboy’s Barbeque & Rib Company, Johnson’s Bar-B-Que and KC BBQ Team. The event runs August 18 – 21, and its $5 General Admission, with menu items ranging from $2-$25. I’ll speak less, and show more pictures, because, that’s all that truly matters…isn’t it?
