Burger King Japan Set to Launch an Apple-Topped Burger

Yeah, our domestic Burger King locations know how to pile on the bacon, but Burger King Japan is toying with a new flavor combo — Apple-topped Burger. The new item goes under the title BK RiNGO, which features a thick apple slice (ringo apparently means ‘apple’ in Japanese), grilled and topped with cinnamon and then stacked on a grilled beef patty with honey-mustard sauce, lettuce and mayo between Whopper Jr.-sized buns.

The BK RiNGO is priced at 240 yen (US $2.98) à la carte and 490 yen (US $6.08) for a value meal (tax included). This burger will be available at stores Japan-wide starting March 9th.
