Burger King Is Celebrating Pickleball With Two Pickle-Loaded Burgers
Pickleball has officially made its way onto the Burger King menu in Japan, and naturally, pickles are getting plenty of playing time.
The chain has introduced two new pickleball-inspired burgers, each stacked with 11 pickles. Why 11? That’s the number of points players typically need to win a game of pickleball. And here I thought somebody in the kitchen just had a particularly heavy hand with the pickles, which I’m not mad at.
The lineup includes the Pickleball Burger, which comes with two of Burger King’s signature flame-grilled beef patties, lettuce, onions, and a creamy dill sauce with hints of lemon. Its teammate, the Chicken Pickleball Burger, trades the beef for a crispy chicken patty while keeping all 11 pickles in the starting lineup.
Burger King Japan has sponsored the Pickleball Japan Federation since 2025, so the new burgers are part of the chain’s ongoing relationship with the sport.
And because apparently the burgers aren’t enough, each purchase also comes with a miniature pickleball paddle keychain while supplies last. Burger King Japan is even hosting a pickleball game through its official app, where winning matches earns players discount coupons. Land a rare winning animation, and you’ll automatically enter a lottery for an original Burger King pickleball paddle.
Both burgers launched at participating Burger King locations across Japan, excluding Kansai International Airport Terminal and racecourse locations. The beef Pickleball Burger costs 1,490 yen (approximately $9.43), or 1,790 yen as a meal. The Chicken Pickleball Burger costs 690 yen, or 990 yen as a meal. Both are available in limited quantities while supplies last.
The app game runs through October 15, giving pickleball fans another way to get a little competitive without having to leave their phones.
