Taco Bell’s New Churro Ice Cream Taco Is Giving Major Choco Taco Vibes
The worlds of Taco Bell and Salt & Straw have collided again, and this time, we’re getting a double dose of nostalgia.
First up is the Salt & Straw Choco-Waffle Chiller, a blended frozen beverage with vanilla ice cream, churro crumbles and waffle cone pieces, topped with whipped cream and even more waffle cone pieces.
The second chilled treat is the Salt & Straw Churro Ice Cream Taco, which is reminiscent of the classic Choco Taco that, sadly, was discontinued in 2022. It features churro ice cream inside a taco-shaped waffle cone shell coated with dark chocolate flavor and puffed rice.
Both are now available at Live Más Cafe locations nationwide.
The last time Taco Bell and Salt & Straw linked up, the result was the Tacolate, a similarly Choco Taco-inspired treat with a swicy twist. The short-lived dessert sold out in less than three days. With a response like that, running it back for a second collaboration was clearly a no-brainer.
