Before the lights even dim at the upcoming Live Más LIVE 2026, Taco Bell decided to give the country an early bite.

Chocolate Fudge & Caramel Empanadas are officially back in rotation, and this time they’re pulling up as a duo. For $2.99, you get two warm, crispy empanadas: one filled with salted caramel in a classic crust, the other wrapped in a chocolatey shell stuffed with rich fudge. It’s the familiar handheld format fans loved back in the Caramel Apple era, just dialed deeper into dessert territory.

The move kicks off this year’s Live Más LIVE rollout, Taco Bell’s annual menu spectacle that blends entertainment and innovation. While the full slate of 2026 reveals won’t stream until March 10 on Peacock, these empanadas are already available nationwide.

If that wasn’t enough sweet news, Taco Bell is also spinning the new duo into a Sweet Empanadas & Cream Chiller. The frozen blend mixes chopped pieces of the empanadas into a vanilla ice cream base, layered with caramel and Mexican chocolate syrup, finished with whipped cream. It’s currently exclusive to Live Más Café locations in Southern California, Texas, and Las Vegas for a limited time.

Starting March 19, the empanadas will join Taco Bell’s Luxe Value Menu for a limited run. And during the Live Más LIVE stream on March 10, the first 30,000 Rewards Members can score $1 dessert empanadas through a live Tuesday Drop.

The show may be about what’s coming next, but Taco Bell made sure dessert hit the stage first.
