Dunkin’ Is Testing A 48-Ounce Drink Bucket That Has The Internet Buzzing
Could ginormous drinking cups come back in style? Who knows. But if you remember the ridiculous-sized plastic cups that fast food chains and gas stations used to carry in the 1990s, you’ll love Dunkin’s new 48-ounce bucket cup.
According to the chain, the bucket cup is being tested at three locations in New Hampshire and two in Massachusetts, and is exclusive to iced coffees, iced lattes, and Dunkin’ Refreshers. Dunkin’ hasn’t officially promoted the bucket or shared its price point, but so far, people on social media are buzzing about the extra dose of caffeine.
TikTok user sophiesophss got her hands on one and can’t wait to show it off to her co-workers, saying, “Imagine walking into the office with one of these. Instant aura.”

Another fan, who along with her friend, purchased four Dunkin’ buckets, saying, “I’m a little bit busy with girl therapy.”

An overjoyed New England user named elijah_boivin couldn’t stop swirling his bucket around to hear the ice clang, almost yelling, “It’s a whole new level! I didn’t know I needed this in my life.”

The caffeine craze has even infiltrated other social media platforms, with X user @CurtiiMcGurtii joking, “Dunkin’ seen ppl turning those Lowe’s buckets into coffee cups and had to act QUICK!”

While Instagram user @robpepp is clearly annoyed with Dunkin’s apparent favoritism towards New Hampshire and Massachusetts, and wants the 48-ounce buckets immediately. “I have a little message for my friends over at Dunkin’. If you don’t send that to Staten Island, New York, I’m going to have to drive up to Massachusetts because I need a Dunkin’ bucket in.my.hands.IMMEDIATELY!”
There’s no word on when, or if Dunkin’ plans to release the 48-ounce bucket cup nationwide, but based on the response, it’d be a total buzzkill not to.
