Subway South Korea Launches Limited-Time Cucumber Sandwich

Subway South Korea is celebrating Cucumber Day (yup, that’s a thing) with the debut of a new limited-time menu item: the Cucumber Sandwich. Available throughout May, the sandwich leans all the way into its star ingredient—featuring 80g of sliced cucumbers and ranch dressing on the brand’s classic Italian bread. That’s it.

Priced at 3,200 won (approximately $2.29 USD), the six-inch sandwich is being served as a tribute to the May 2nd holiday. And while it might raise some eyebrows, the Cucumber Sandwich isn’t too far off from Subway’s existing Veggie Delite, which can be customized to include nothing but cucumbers if one so desires.

For cucumber lovers or the curious, this pared-down sub offers a surprisingly affordable novelty bite.

As a cucumber lover myself, this sandwich speaks to me in every frequency. Subway America — your move.
