Mountain Dew To Sell Baja Blast Nationwide In Stores For All Of 2024

For two decades, Baja Blast, a beloved beverage from PepsiCo’s Mountain Dew, was exclusive to Taco Bell, and now for the first time ever, it’s making its debut in retail stores across the nation for a whole year.

If you’ve never had Baja Blast before, it’s a tropical lime-flavored beverage with a unique teal color tone. It essentially tastes like the perfect balance of juice and soda combined into one, a combo that has lead to a devoted following since it’s inception back in 2004.

Now, fans don’t have to go to Taco Bell for their Baja Blast fix. PepsiCo announced that for the drink’s 20th anniversary, dubbed BAJAVERSARY, the brand is giving fans what they deserve: a full year to buy their favorite flavor in bottles and cans in stores.

“MTN DEW BAJA BLAST has cemented its place as a fan-favorite flavor in pop culture and as a staple in countless Taco Bell orders, so we knew we had to celebrate its 20th anniversary in a big way,” said JP Bittencourt, Vice President of Marketing at MTN DEW.

And to deepen the fan love for Baja Blast, for the first time ever, Mountain Dew’s Baja Blast will have a Super Bowl commercial during Super Bowl LVIII in February. Do we think it will land in Taylor Swift’s hand and spark ‘Seemingly Baja’?
