Hulu Set To Debut New David Chang Cooking Competition Series, ‘Secret Chef’

It seems the cat’s out the bag about David Chang’s new Hulu competition series “Secret Chef.” Combining elements from “The Masked Singer” with traditional cooking competition shows, Secret Chef invites kitchen wizzes from different backgrounds to test their culinary mettle. From professionals to skilled home chefs and social media content makers, there’s no telling who will come out on top.

Each challenge takes place in a secret underground kitchen labyrinth that’s isolated and connected by a series of conveyor belts. Taking instruction from an animated talking hat, each contestant must keep their wits about them and pull out all the stops to ensure victory.

Unlike other cooking competition shows, chefs are rated by each other in blind taste tests. That means that only food will be judged, which is really the only thing that matters.

You can binge the 10-episode Secret Chef series on Hulu beginning June 29.
