Breakfast Interrupted: Food In Slow Motion [VIDEO]

We’ve seen a number of slow motion food videos in the past, but with our group of cinephile editors here at Foodbeast, we simply cannot resist a beautifully shot piece of slow motion artwork.

Bruton Stroube Studios recently released a clip entitled Breakfast Interrupted, shot in beautiful 1000fps primarily on the Phantom HD Gold camera rig. Per usual, the sight of food we see everyday crashing, swaying and splashing in extreme detail and slow motion evokes a peculiar sensory interest. Eggs crack, juice flares and pancakes float. What better fate for food that you have no chance of eating anyways?

Equally interesting is the process gone in to creating this beautiful 1:17 video. Luckily for us, the Bruton Stroube has released an equally brief behind-the-scenes video showcasing the cameras involved in the process, the spring board process involved in launching the food into the air and the studio set-up the entire sequence was shot in.
