Coca-Cola Store: Tastes of the World (Las Vegas)

During our latest outting to Las Vegas, our homies Giovanni and Dominic would not let the night go dry, telling me of an awesome experience you can have at the Coca-Cola store, which is flush with the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. Apparently, if you go up to the top floor, you can enjoy what the store aptly calls “Tastes of the World”. For a mere $7.00, you will get two trays of Coke samples from countries all across the world; 16 different flavors to be exact. Some, arguably better than others…but half the fun is getting an order and taste testing with some of your friends.

The entire store is chock full of souvenirs and products that you normally wouldn’t even think of buying…until you get there.

This is what we came for.

The most interesting part of the entire experience is running into the flavors that you think taste absolutely horrible. It makes you question what their thought process was in creating such a horrible beverage, but then you realize that every part of the world has differently tuned taste buds, and while some countries enjoy more sweet, some may enjoy more tart…and with this dynamic, Tastes of the World is definitely something you need to try next time you’re in Las Vegas!
