QUESALUPA: Taco Bell’s Cheese-Stuffed Shell Is Going To Be Available Everywhere Soon

Just got word from our sources at Taco Bell that their cheese-stuffed Chalupa, the Quesalupa, will be moving out of the testing phase and into a nationwide release.

If you recall, the Quesalupa went into test in Toledo, OH across 36 stores in the region. TBell ran campaigns pressuring the folks in that area to try it. The vague e-mail we just got from Taco Bell’s team confirms that the product passed testing and will be unveiled nationwide before the end of the year.

Our contact said the “36-store test was one of the most successful in Taco Bell’s history — joining the ranks of the Doritos Locos Tacos, another test originating in the city of Toledo.”

The Quesalupa features melted pepper jack cheese stuffed inside a flaky, crispy shell:
