Carl's Jr. released their new Made From Scratch Strawberry Biscuits and Salted Caramel Shakes this week. The new biscuits on deck claim to "made-from-scratch," a bold move for any fast food joint.

The Strawberry Biscuit is made with a fresh buttermilk biscuit drizzled with white icing and topped with sliced strawberries drenched in strawberry syrup. Apparently, "fresh biscuits" in this case mean a combination of biscuit mix and buttermilk baked daily. Alright.

The Sea Salt & Caramel Shake, another new item, packs hand-scooped vanilla ice cream blended with caramel syrup. It's topped with sea salt toffee crumbles and whipped cream. You're going to want a bacon burger or two to balance all that sweet.

The biscuit is available at $0.99 and $1.79 for two, while the shake will run you $2.99 at participating locations.
