With the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Catherine Middleton only six weeks away, Dunkin' Donuts has revealed a delicate homage to the occasion through a celebratory Royal Wedding Donut. The idea for the heart shaped donut emerged at the hands of the brand's British-born CEO Nigel Travis, who was also raised in Woodford, Essex, and is especially excited for the big day.
The heart shaped donut is filled with jelly, topped with vanilla icing and a final coating of chocolate drizzle. For a very limited time from April 24-29, the donut will be available at participating Dunkin' Donuts locations throughout the United States at a suggested retail price of 89 cents.
