When Ashley Jiron noticed that someone had been rummaging through the garbage of her P.B. Jams restaurant in Oklahoma, she wasn't going to take it quietly.

According to Fox 6 Now, after Jiron saw her trash bags torn open with food taken out of it, she promptly posted a sign at the door and on the trash bin of her restaurant, hoping to put a stop to it.

The sign read:

"To the person going through our trash for their next meal, you are a human being and worth more than a meal from a dumpster. Please come in during operating hours for a classic PB & J, fresh veggies and a cup of water, at no charge. No questions asked."

Jiron said she knows pride might keep the person from actually going in for the free meal, but she will not take down the sign until the person does it.

She told Fox 6, " It hurt me that someone had to do that... If I can be that one person to extend that hand to another human being then I will definitely do it."

Faith in humanity is temporarily restored with this story.
