These Fruity Pebble Rainbow Donuts Are Almost Too Pretty To Eat

If you're a fan of Fruity Pebbles and donuts, this recipe is right up your colorful alley.

Beth of The First Year recipe blog put together these Rainbow Donuts that will soothe your OCD.

A lot of foods that claim to be rainbow-themed are usually colorful, but lack the actual rainbow element. These donuts, however, actually look like little rainbows.

Sure it requires a little patience, as you have to separate each color in the Fruity Pebbles, but all great things don't come without struggle. Plus, chances are you're making these for kids. This would be the perfect opportunity to get them involved and let them pick out the colors.

Beth actually has a kick-ass recipe to make donuts, but if you're lazy like me, skip that step and just run to the grocery store and buy some.

After you have your doughy vessel, you melt some white chocolate and dip the donuts in it.

From there, while the chocolate's warm, you start applying the Fruity Pebble pieces, one by one.

It's not a complete rainbow, obviously, but you start at the top with the reds, then make your way down with the orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.

Add a shredded coconut cloud under the rainbow for extra texture and you've got yourself a colorful, delicious snack.
