Meet The Undisputed King Of In-N-Out Selfies

If you're a Californian, chances are you're obsessed with In-N-Out, but you'll never be, "Take the exact same photo every time I go to In-N-Out" obsessed.

That's a special kind of obsession that belongs to Alec Rounds of Laguna Niguel, California. Rounds has a very peculiar Instagram account called @innoutrounds, where he documents every single visit to In-N-Out by photographing himself giving the camera a deadly gaze, putting the classic red palm tree-covered cup over his mouth, and having his feast sit directly in front of him, preparing to be devoured.

"I try and go to In-N-Out as much as I can," Rounds told Foodbeast. " I usually just go whenever I am hungry for a double-double, which is often."

Followers might not always know what they're looking at exactly, but they know the account is something special as Rounds has been called a hero, committed, and even insane. Regardless of what people say about him, it's undeniable that his account will make you feel something -- especially hunger.

Rounds is like an Animal Style artist, sharing self portraits with style and grace.

OK, maybe it's not that serious, but it's a pretty fantastic account that Rounds said he uses to share his burning passion for the Cali-based burger joint.

A Finlandia University hockey goalie by day, and In-N-Out fiend by night, Rounds has gone to In-N-Out over 155 times over the last year and a half, mastering the perfect selfie along the way.

While the pose itself was made on-the-fly, there was actually a bit of thought that went into the concept as a whole. Rounds told Foodbeast that he definitely wanted to make sure he got his meal in each shot, so that every mouth-watering Double-Double was visible to the world. The In-N-Out Selfie King also said the repeated pose concept was inspired by the infamous @mrpimpgoodgame, who is a selfie king in his own right.

"After creating the account, I quickly went to In-N-Out for my first post and I didn’t know what to do," Rounds said of his first Instagram post. "I kind of like how the cup hides half my face, I feel it makes me a little mysterious, haha."

He has even passed down his posing wisdom to his little brother Sean Rounds, who has an apprentice-like account called @innoutroundsjr.

"I am showing him the ropes so that one day maybe he can take charge of my account," Rounds said jokingly.

So if Rounds ever wants to retire and get his jersey hung in the rafters at In-N-Out University, he has his little brother to pass the torch to, but until then, he is the unquestionable In-N-Out Selfie King.
