That's right. Budweiser is going platinum. What the heck does that mean? Who cares, it's better than gold! When did they go gold exactly? Who knows? The point is that a new light beer is on the horizon and beer drinkers everywhere should be rejoicing. What actually makes Budweiser Platinum different from their ordinary brew is that it will contain 6% alcohol by volume. This is somewhat of a jump from their other variants such as Bud Light is a mere 4.2% ABV and Budweiser classic which has 5% ABV.
