Sonic recently upgraded their menu with four new spicy items. The new additions include the Southwest Chipotle Breakfast Burrito, Classic Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Island Fire SuperSONIC Cheeseburger (pictured above) and the Island Fire Spicy Chicken Sandwich which are available at participating Sonic locations.

Between the hot mess of sandwiches and burrito littered across the table, we managed to get a few shots -- sticky fingers and all. Check out the new menu items below.

Southwest Chipotle Breakfast Burrito

The breakfast burrito comes with eggs, sausage, cheese and tator tots. They've now added smoked chipotle sauce and fire-roasted red and green peppers.

Classic Spicy Chicken Sandwich

Spicy seasoned chicken breast with lettuce, tomatoes and mayo on a ciabatta bun.

Island Fire SuperSONIC Cheeseburger

Two beef patties with smokey cheddar and pepper jack cheeses, bacon (of course), lettuce, tomato and a sweet and spicy habanero sauce on a bun.

Island Fire Spicy Chicken Sandwich

The Island Fire Spicy Chicken Sandwich is pretty much the same as Classic Spicy Chicken, but topped with a spicy habenero sauce.

Overall, not to shabby guys. Although we would've preferred a bit more kick, the new spicy items were definitely not something to complain about.
