While St. Pete cops in Florida were inside investigating a domestic quarrel in an apartment, Vanessa Nicole Brooks, 22, hopped into one of two police cars parked outside. Brooks grabbed the keys located in the vehicle, started the car and on her way out collided with the other police cruiser, causing damage.

Less than 15 minutes later, the officers emerged from the apartment and to their dismay, discovered that one of their cars had been stolen. Tampa police and the Florida Highway Patrol were notified and told to keep a lookout for the stolen vehicle.

We suppose being on the run from the popo is exhausting and builds up your appetite, so you can't really blame Brooks for stopping by a McDonald's in Tampa. Unfortunately for her, she was quickly spotted at the fast food chain and forced to cut her meal short as she fled the scene on foot. Police chased and arrested Brooks. Meanwhile, the car was left in gear and rolled backward into a tree. Thus, damaging the second police cruiser as well.

As Sun Sentinel put it, "The cops were not lovin' it."
